Supporting Indonesia's former president Suharto to second father to be
called a hero. Though he had mistakes in
the past but I think he still deserves to be called a hero. Because I think the
majority of the Indonesian people also want this. But to make it happen a
little bit difficult because there are some who do not agree to make Suharto
hero.
First, Soeharto at that time
had a distinctive development strategy that is Indonesia doing development in
aspects of life that aims for the creation of a just and prosperous society. With his trademark strategy that
he earned the nickname "Father of Development". Suharto
development strategy not only infrastructure development but also development
in the agricultural sector. At the time of Suharto getting farmers with
abundant results. At that time, Indonesia also has a remarkable achievement in
the development of agriculture, namely Indonesia into a rice exporting country
in the world and achieve self-sufficiency.
Second, At the time of his reign he was
always concerned with democratic stability in the community so that the
government can do a great development. But at that time he still uses
Pancasila democracy, when it seems the power of the people is very dominant.
Even ethical, moral and legal rules are trampled for the sake of democracy
keblabasan has been believed by many parties.
Third, at the time of Suharto very
important role in terms of the fight and defend the independence of Indonesia.

BalasHapusIn my opinion, we shouldn't confer the title of hero on Soeharto. Suharto only deserves the title as the father of development not national hero.
