Indonesia including one of the country with cases of
violence on child large enough now. Every year
cases of violence against children continues to rise. From year 2013 happened
1620 cases, 2014 happened 2726 cases , 2015 happened 2898 cases. The kind of violence against children are,
physical abuse , psychological/ emotional abuse , sexual abuse and child
neglect .Cases of violence against children who has been greatest in indonesia
is sexual abuse.
Violence against children can be done by anyone.
Violence againts children are can be implemented by nearest person like their family. Violence
against children prevalent today most was sexual violence that done by a group of
men to children aged 6 to 15 years old. The doers of that violence is mostly
was about 15 to 20 years old.
Parents also can be doer of violence against their children.
Children who became a victim of violence from their parents would have been
fear and trauma to himself. Fear and the trauma can caused them to ran away
from home and surroundings. Many of those who eventually become displaced, even
so member of a group of criminals and other investors crime. Other forms of
violence against children are children trafficking. Child trafficking is the
transaction who took the child as an selling object. The transaction was done
by or through the intermediary or their parents.
In indonesia has been there a law arranged for child
protection. The doers of violence against children
will be given to criminal sanctions. The punishment that awarded to the doers
of violence against chidren were jailed for 15 years. If the doers are from the
family, the punishment will be added to 20 years in prison. But the most punishment
given to the doers of sexual violence against children only 8 years in prison.
This impact is not good for victims, Because the process of restoring psychic
they need take years. Even, there are victims who still scared when heard the
name of doers of sexual violence to them. Many parties who disagree when just
prison punishment given to the doers of violence against children, especially
for sexual violence. Besides corporal punishment of a prison for the doers of sexual
violence against children, then can also
needed to the rehabilitation for not repeating again of his efforts, especially
for young doers.
From the things
discussed above can be concluded that in Indonesia, level of violence against children still continue to
increase, Especially sexual violence against
children. Violence against children can be done by anyone, can also be
implemented by the nearest
person like family and parents. Punishment that given to the doers of violence against children is weak to
be applied. Prison will not be enough to the doers of sexual violence
against children. Punishment that can be given is that the rehabilitation to
violent doers. This is also deeply in recommend to the doers of violence that
still in young age. So far, indonesia too traded to criminal punishment of
prison without any rehabilitation. As a result, when the doers was released
from prison, in mindset and his behavior do not change so risky repeating his
crimes. After a doer out from prison, the doer will be monitored how things
work and driven to interact positively with the community. For the victim also
should be free of the stigma and empowered that can continue his life
optimally.

BalasHapusThis article is very nice, I agree with what you write, especially at the conclusion that I agree punishment that can be given is that the rehabilitation of perpetrators of violence. It is also very much in recommending to the perpetrators of violence still young. I hope this article can be read by the people of Indonesia.
BalasHapusWith the rehabilitation of what may be able to impose penalties for behavior that has been done can be realized and not to be repeated. it is certainly going to be great if coupled with education of religious and between earthly and the afterlife can be balanced and it's getting closer to Allah.
