Accidents that occur in the derivative
Muara Rapak was terrible. Why not have often accidents that occur in the area. It seems like the
government and the municipal government Balikpapan East Kalimantan provincial
government did not learn of the incident which is often the case. So who
is to blame with the incident. Sunday 8th May at around 16:30 pm and the
collision incident occurred.
Fortunately, there were no casualties
in this incident. How could this happen again? The government seemed to close
their eyes to the tragedy. Soekarno-Hatta streets Muara Rapak does have a
fairly steep derivatives, there are traffic lights so that when the red light a
lot of vehicles that queue up again width of the road is quite narrow lead when
the streets are jammed rush hour. And the road close to Rapak Plaza shopping
center. Too often public transportation stops are made carelessly jammed the
streets increased. At the time the accident was crowded vehicles queuing
Because red lights, the truck brakes malfunctioning that caused the truck
uncontrollable and finally hit the vehicle in front of him. After the
investigation was truckloads exceed the limits specified by the government.
East Kalimantan provincial
government should improve because of this incident, because the weighbridge is
located at Km 17 practice is not in line with expectations. The fact that there was a truck
carrying the timber exceeds the provisions and could qualify for entry into the
Oil City. Balikpapan itself has regulations governing hours of heavy vehicles
could enter the city. However, not all heavy vehicles are under the
Regulations. For example, a vehicle with a wooden tub is not regulated by the
Regulation. And circulation hour rule does not apply on holidays. This means
that there must be a revision of the rules to regulate all heavy vehicles that
will go into the Oil City.
Many solutions are offered.
However, the reality is not done by the government as just being the wind and
just a discourse. As
flyover of a few years ago had been talked about but in fact there is no
movement at all. And there are many other solutions.
One
of the college teacher of Civil Engineering Institute of Technology Kalimantan
(ITK) Muhammad Muntaha gives an interesting idea. Muntaha greeting familiar
saying that there should be improvements angle of inclination Muara Rapak.
Public roads, the rules have a maximum angle of 7 percent. This means that
every 100 meters, the maximum increase is only seven meters. Better yet just 5
percent. The solution is to attenuate derivative or incline it. Originally
there was a budget of three or four months to be completed.
One
of the contributions made Institute of technology Kalimantan to the advancement
of the East Kalimantan province.
The
government shoud more tightly against heavy laden car drivers to obey the rules
that have been created.

I think the accident happened in the swamp is not only pemenrintah factors alone but on factor motorists who do not abide the rules because it was clear there was a rule explains that a large truck may only pass these roads at night precisely at 10 pm
BalasHapusagree that the government should contribute more to prevent incidents of sustainable
BalasHapusI'm disagree with your statement about goverment that seem close their eyes with that tragedy, you don't have the proof. When the tragedy, I saw Goverment Depatrment of Transportation tow truck help the people when the tragedy by pull the car out of the road,
BalasHapusactually all back to ourselves, everything if done carefully, the accident can be minimized or even avoided, I do not agree if the government is to blame, because the scene is often an accident, it is dangerous, because the steep slope, should society that should be more careful
BalasHapuslecture of kalimantan institute of technology's idea was really briliant. i think the same way like he did. we need improvements angle there to prevent that same thing happen again. because, if the government didn't do any changes there, that same thing can be happen again and again.
BalasHapuswell .... we do not know when disaster will befall us. Although the government was asked to intervene, what should happen then it will happen. All we can do is be careful in driving, obey traffic regulations and keep praying for the safety of us all.
